How we protect your privacy

Your files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.

How it works

When you open a tool, your browser downloads the page and the code for that tool. When you choose a file, the tool reads it on your device, does the work there, and gives you the result to save. The file is never sent to us.

What happens to your files afterwards

Your files are held only in this browser tab while you use a tool. When you start over, leave the page or close the tab, they’re cleared, and pressing Back won’t bring them back. Your original files are never changed.

The only copy that stays is a file you choose to download. If you leave before downloading a result, your browser asks you first.

Check it yourself

You don’t have to take our word for it. Try either of these:

  1. Watch the network. Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, then use a tool. You’ll see no upload of your file.
  2. Go offline. Open a tool and choose your files, then turn off your internet connection and finish the job. It still works, because nothing needs to leave your device.

What we do collect

The tools themselves never send your files or what you type anywhere. Before launch, the site may add analytics to count visits and see which tools are used, and ads to keep it free. If we do, our privacy policy will name each service and what it collects. They never receive the contents of your files.
